Top dyeing is a dyeing method used for natural vegetable fibers (such as cotton, linen, hemp, ramie...), natural animal fibers (such as merino wool, lambswool etc), including the so called natural luxury fibers , that is alpaca, angora, cashmere, mohair, vicuna, silk, lama, camel hair, beaver hair, deer hair…), synthetic fibers (nylon, polyester, acrylic, modacrylic, aramid and metaramidic fibers, also in microfiber...), artificial fibers (bamboo, viscose, acetate, triacetate, lyocell, modal fabric...), processed in the form of combed ribbon.
In addition to dyeing, we carry out other processes, such as:
- Anti-shrinkage treatment (MacroWash): with this treatment, wool or wool blend fabrics are stabilized for washing at 40/50° C.
- Flame-retardant Treatment
- Anti-moth Treatment
- Anti-bacterial Treatment
If requested, we can also carry out a melange treatment (which consists of mixing tops of different colors and fibers)
Top raw materials are mainly used to make combed yarns for knitwear and clothing.
